Reversible Sewing Machine Cover/press mat pattern

Protect your sewing machine from dust and damage by making a cover that also doubles as a press mat. The cover is reversible and has a detachable pocket in which essential tools and notions can be stored neatly. Designed by Suzie Duncan of Sewing Street fame ( if you haven't watched Sewing Street yet check out the YouTube TV channel!). 

Approximate finished size: 23" wide x 31"  

You will need the following fabrics: 

• 0.5 metres plain fabric (F1)
• One fat quarter of each of four different fabrics (F2, F3, F4, F5)
• 0.5m border fabric (F6)
• Approximately 23 inches x 31 inches heat resistant wadding (or wadding if not using as a press mat)
• Two buttons approximately 2.5cm/1 inch
