Vilene Standard black Interfacing F220 is a crisp, stable interfacing specially suited to light/medium weight fabrics.

Gives extra body to silks, poplins, and embroideries. Can be used for shaped cuffs, belts, bodices, hats & textile crafts.. Easy to apply and long-lasting shape.

Ideal for stabilising embroidery projects ready for stitching.

Vilene Standard Interfacing is a crisp, stable interfacing for shaped cuffs, belts, bodices, hats and textile crafts. Easy to apply and gives long-lasting shape.

Standard Iron-On Interfacing is available in White or Charcoal from the full range of Non Woven Vilene available from Empress.

Recommended Fabrics

The standard interlining is suitable for use on light to medium-weight fabrics such as cotton, linen, denim, poplin and baby cord.

Method & Care

For best effects when working with Vilene's Standard Interlining Use the Dry Heat Method.

• Place the interfacing with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Cover the entire area with a damp cloth.
• Press each area for about 12 seconds, being careful not to move the iron. Iron setting: Wool / cotton.
• Allow the pieces to cool flat for about 20 minutes, so that the adhesive can set properly.
